"Hide-and-seek", 2022
Hide-and-seek became a reaction to the discovery of the mass graves in Bucha (Ukraine, Kyiv region) in April of 2022 when russian army retreated from this territory. The branches resemble human bodies covered by bandages. They separated one from the other and seemed covered in shroud. In this symbolic action, they are receiving dignity in their death. The dignity that russian army deprived them from in their death.
